St. Edward Guild’s mission is to nurture the community and spiritual life of the women of our parish through involvement in an interesting variety of volunteer and social activities.
Through its efforts, the Guild raises funds to support important programs within the parish and the Diocese. The Guild meets monthly from October - May. All are welcome.

Dear Guild Members,
A heartfelt welcome to you with the excitement for a successful and spiritual season of the Saint Edward Guild! Our success is due to all the love and support focused on our mission. The dedication of our guild is exemplary, we are all so blessed to share a compassionate heart and the common goal of helping those in need.
The time you give, the hearts you touch, the lives you bless, these are true gifts from God.
We honor our founding members, Pastors, presidents and guild officers who have all contributed greatly to the tremendous success of our spiritual development, support of Saint Edward Church, Catholic education and charitable works of our parish. None of this would be possible without the support, compassion, dedication and generous contributions of our members and parishioners throughout the years.
We are very excited about our upcoming events! Again this year, Monsignor will be celebrating a very special Remembrance Mass Friday November 2, 8:30 AM for All Souls Day. Our Welcome Tea will be on Wednesday November 14th, Saint Edward Rectory. We will be celebrating our Christmas Gala at the spectacular Breakers Resort on Tuesday December 11th. On Thursday February 7th, we will enjoy a Valentine Luncheon and Fashion Show held at The Beach Club.
The Saint Edward Guild Charitable Works Committee, with Co-Chairs Liz Ailes, Mary Ierardi, and Holiday Tuttle enters into our fourth year. The mission is to provide assistance, through community faith-based nursing programs, to Diocesan low income seniors, the poor, homeless and underprivileged families. The Committee organized in April 2015 has over 60 participating Guild members who have met monthly to assemble and distribute some 600 gifts. These gift packages include household goods, personal hygiene items, baby clothes and supplies and trauma patient clothing items. Festive holiday luncheons are served to the residents at Villa Madonna in Lake Worth – Villa Franciscan in Riviera Beach and Villa Regina in West Palm Beach.
More information is provided at the committee level for this wonderful support of charity by the guild.
The Saint Edward Health and Wellness Ministry’s goal is to encourage holistic health habits for the entire community; to develop and sponsor public health and wellness educational lectures; to select well-respected medical professionals to share their expertise; and to provide DVDs of the lectures for community distribution. The lectures are offered on designated Sunday mornings in our Parish Hall with refreshments provided by the Guild.
We look forward to seeing everyone at our first meeting beginning with our Guild Mass 11:00 AM, October 10th.
May God Bless you,
Jo Anne Burkholder
Saint Edward Guild President
